Hello, I’m Alla Tchernycheva, a ceramic artist who believes that beauty lies in the smallest details. From the grooves of a tree trunk to the delicate patterns in a flower’s petals, nature’s textures and forms inspire everything I create.
What started as a simple idea—something I would try after retirement—quickly became a passion. Since my first pottery class in 2015, I’ve been on an exciting journey, learning and experimenting with different techniques. My creative process is about exploring the world through clay and allowing my hands to tell the story of the textures and shapes I observe in everyday life.
Whether it’s working with clay, sewing, or even tending to my garden, I’m always finding ways to express my love for the world’s intricacies. My ceramics journey is one of continuous learning, evolving with every piece I make, and I’m grateful to be supported by my family every step of the way.
